Has anyone used this company and had any problems

Hi: Does anyone have any information on a company called Lenders Mortgage Services. This company has several locations in USA, UK, Cayman Islands and Kingston, Jamaica. I was told that I am approved for a loan of $10,000.00 and had three choices to secure the loan.
1) Use house/car that was fully paid off.
2)Buy insurance against the loan for $800.00, with ability to pay half upfront.
3)Pay the first three months of the loan repayment,
BBB has given this company a B rating. What I am concern about is this company legit.

Hi Francine,
The BBB does give them a B, but it looks as though they have practically no background information on the company so it may not be the full picture of what they do. Did you apply for a loan with them? If you didn't and you got a notice saying you were approved, then it probably isn't legit. Also, upfront fees are never a good thing either. I'd recommend finding a loan with a legitimate financial institution who can be verified here in the US.

I applied for a loan but not to them directly. They probably are associated with one of the companies I applied to and I am not sure which one. They did give me 5 days to make a decision. How would I go about finding out information on this company.

I would suggest asking them if they are affiliated with a company you applied with and contacting that company directly to verify.
