We are highly disappointed customers. Our experience with working with Oasis and the president, Mr. Black was negative. We initially believed we were doing business with a first-rate company, however, that quickly changed once we signed the contract and paid the first large installment. We feel this company is unprofessional, lacks competent customer service and in our opinion, their quality of workmanship is substandard for the price we paid. From day one countless mistakes occurred. The first was when they brought the wrong equipment required to dig in the rocky soil. Oasis warned of the rock from their very first visit ignored our warnings and because of that, Oasis declared as “unforeseen obstacles” charged an additional $2,000. Other mistakes include incorrect installation of the cover rails (requiring several attempts to fix). Workers burning trash during a strict fire ban. Attempting to double-bill a payment, knocking down our mailbox, using our tools to do their work, knowing the pool was blemished and needed fixing. They did not notify us until the pool was set, with deck poured, and full with water, requiring them to drain down the water to repair. These “mistakes” took months to correct and not until we stopped further work to the landscape. After six months of mistakes, excuses, unanswered phone calls, and $53,000 later, we do have a pool and rock wall, but the yard is nothing but dirt and sand. We strongly advise to look elsewhere for a pool contractor (we’ll never know if the landscaping is any better), but if you choose Oasis I would recommend that you negotiate a payment schedule much more to the buyers favor and never pay anything in full until the job is complete to your satisfaction.
