Attractive But Not Secure

I purchased the OSP Designs Parsons Bonded Leather Desk Chair from Office Depot in July. I wanted a desk chair without casters. This chair is very attractive in cream color. It is just the right height, and looks very attractive in my home office. However, when my husband assembled the chair the last leg he was to attach (left front) the screw would not go all the way into the seat frame. He improvised by placing extra washers to secure it. It does not alter the use; however, I wonder if some time in the future I will be seated and the leg will fall off.
