BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS COMPANY. THE PRINCIPAL IS A CROOK!
Darren Purcell, the owner advertised a used HP Color LaserJet in working condition on Craig's list. He said it only needed a new black-ink cartridge. I contacted through the Craig's list e-mail system first. He then call my cell phone on 1/6/11 and told me about the printer and what good condition it was in. We made an appointment for the morning of 1/7/11 outside a Starbucks in Diamond Bar. Halfway between his location and mine. He showed me the printer and once again told me it was in working order and only needed a new cartridge.
I took the printer to my office in the afternoon of the same day. I installed new cartridges. Very quickly I realized the printer had an internal circuit problem. I contacted Mr. Purcell to complain and asked for my money. He denied any wrongdoing. I was taken by a thief who placed a misleading ad with intent to defraud.
I have reported him to the FTC and to Craig's List.
