The principals of this so called management company ,Sue Lyons ,her husband, and a Mr. David Martinez are not only evasive, manipulative liars with their own agendas but operate under a veil of secrecy not unlike a secret society . My house recently underwent a complete renovation and every aspect of this renovation had to be 'approved ' by Tandem . They lied to us repeatedly , they threatened us with violations, they delayed our progress not by weeks or months, but by YEARS. If that wasn't enough they involved their pathetic legal team , Swedelson and Gottlieb to threaten me with 'legalese' and other forms of abuse . Any homeowner who doesn't fall in line with their autocratic paradigm and selective enforcement is subjected to this. I have NEVER in the 23 years I have lived in this community been late on my yearly HOA payment. I was made to feel like a CRIMINAL in my own home for speaking up for my rights. I was threatened with possible liens, I was asked to give up my right to sue, I was the victim of libel and slander. These people are the bottom of the food chain .After suffering for YEARS under the autocratic and abusive entity that is Tandem Property management our HOA is at long last at a turning point having elected a brand new board and with the new board will come some sweeping changes , including the dismissal of a company SO crooked they ought to be indicted . I own other properties in Beverly Hills , ( no HOA ) and Park City Utah where I do employ a management company and am a member of an HOA. We have a kind, cooperative and mutually beneficial relationship . Tandem is their antithesis. They are the root of evil and misery for any unfortunate homeowner connected to them .
