Ebay has very poor customer service and they do not value their customers at all. I have bought & sold on Ebay for 10 years and because of one buyer who had no postive feedback making a mistake they are now charging me higher fees to sell! Even though I have almost a thousand positive ratings and a 100% positive score. Ebay's supervisor actually stated on the phone to me that it does not matter to them if someone's feedback score is 50,000 positive feedbacks or negative 1 feedback they treat everyone the same. So basically someone who scams someone and never earns any positive feedback is treated and viewed the same by Ebay as someone who has been a top rated seller for years with thousands of positive feedbacks. They do not appreciate or value the people who make them money at all. They also are now charging a sale commission fee off of the money seller's charge to pay the USPS to ship the item- that is not profit! How is that even legal? Honestly I question whether it even is and whether a lot of Ebay's questionable tactics are legal or not. They do not even provide proof of what they claim is buyers submitting low scores on sellers so they can raise the sellers fees. I wish I had never started selling on Ebay, and am going to work very hard to get all of my items off of there and find another way to sell them online ASAP! I end up paying so much out in Ebay & Paypal fees that I barely even make much profit anyways. Ebay doesn't give the benefit of the doubt that maybe a new buyer with only 3 positive feedback might have accidentally left all ones on the star rating system, they just use that to be able to charge the seller higher selling fees instead. I honestly wonder if Ebay has people who work for them who buy items just so they can give low scores and Ebay can charge higher fees? At this point I feel they are so shady I would not put anything past them. Please anyone even remotely considering selling on Ebay- go online and read the THOUSANDS of complaints from people who do sell, it is all true, and BEWARE!!!
